Welcome to
Grand Mountain
The Grand Mountain series follows four friends who meet in college and form a book club. These four books and one novella span the college years and into early adulthood of them navigating life, love, and everything in between.
Hadleigh Baker is a chart-obsessed, brilliant girl who loves reading and hanging out with her friends. Since her last relationship ended horribly, she has sworn off dating all together and refuses to give anyone the time of day. Her academic standard is what she throws all of her time into—until a hockey player needs her help and she agrees to tutor him. Even though their relationship starts out rocky, as the semester progresses, the two become more intertwined than she could’ve imagined.
Grant Carter is a go-with-the-flow hockey player who has tried his entire life to succeed—failure was never an option. When he starts failing a class and is threatened with being kicked off the hockey team, a tutor is his only option. He never expected to fall so hard for this girl—even after she hits him with rulers. He throws parties to see if she shows up, tries to get to know her, but she won’t let him in.
Are their feelings enough or will this game they’re playing fizzle out before it even has a chance to start?

This book contains references to the loss of a parent off page and sexual touching without consent, and physical violence—not between the main characters.
Jacks Moore is a rom-com obsessed hockey player who has never been in love before. The only girl who has ever caught his eye has a boyfriend, and he’s not one to ruin a relationship. So when she comes to him during their sophomore year with a plan to make her now ex-boyfriend jealous, it's an offer he can’t refuse. The only problem is that he doesn't want to fake date her. He wants it to be real, but for now, he’ll take what he can get.
Claire Canes is a shy girl who loves photography and Hallmark movies. She’s generally an agreeable person until her boyfriend breaks up with her on their three-year anniversary. Wanting to make him feel how she did, she creates a plan with two of her friends—which involves fake dating a hockey player that she’s only spoken to a handful of times.
As the two movie lovers unite and boundaries are crossed, they realize that this fake relationship is turning into something real, and neither of them knows what to do about it.

Paige Yarrow is a true-crime-obsessed, cheerful girl who loves binge-watching horror movies and reading with her friends. On the outside, she’s a happy girl who loves life. On the inside, she’s haunted by nightmares and memories from her past. She’s determined to move forward but moves three steps back when she discovers a dead body on campus. Her fixation on who murdered the dean turns into a full-fledged investigation with secret sleuthing, and an unlikely connection with her partner.
Oliver Baker is a quiet and reserved guy who most people would describe as grumpy. He enjoys watching old movies, cooking, and working out in his spare time. He tries to stay on the outside of everything, not wanting to risk anyone he loves being ripped away from him again. But when a murder happens on campus–and the girl he’d do anything to protect wants to solve it–he throws himself in the middle of it so she’s not alone.
As their investigation picks up and secrets are kept hidden, Paige and Oliver realize that there might be feelings underneath the surface–and neither of them knows what to do about it.
